The Parish Hall : Llantrisant

Many of you will have been following closely the progress being made with the renovation of the church hall.  There have been regular updates with photographs on the Parish of Llantrisant Facebook page.  It's worth having a look if you haven't already done so.

We are very fortunate to have received a £50,000 award from Biffa Group Limited.  This is a waste management company headquartered in High Wycombe. It provides collection, landfill, recycling and special waste services to local authorities and industrial and commercial clients in the UK.

We applied for an award last year and have just received the first £15,000 towards stage two.  We now have an upstairs meeting room and storage cupboard above the new kitchen.  The staircase was installed during the middle of March.

This is all part of a total project cost of £132,000.  Stage one was completed when we had a new roof and windows.

As part of stage two, the hall now has a new central heating system and has been totally rewired.

Howdens Joinery planned and donated our new kitchen units.

We also received £10,000 from the Welsh Church Acts grant.

We now have new toilet facilities, including a new toilet on floor level to the left of the stage.

The Hall is all finished now - If you would like to book it for an event please see our contact page
